David and I had gone and found the right dress... but it needed to be altered.   So David took off work early to take me to alterations.  We waited for a while outside. Excited about the dress.  Finally 6 o'clock came... the appointment time... and we hurried into David's truck and got the shoes out.  Then David shut the door.   I didn't know why... but the door sounded as if the world had fallen from under us when the wind blew against my skin...

  "The keys...... they're in the truck.... with the wedding dress...."

  I panicked... David panicked.  Sure enough the keys were in the truck... on the drivers side.  And we had no spare.... I ran into the bridal store and told them what had happened.  They rescheduled the appointment.  But still... David and I sat on his truck for hours upon hours... until his dad got home and David was able to reach him on the phone.  To bail us out of the situation.  Finally... 10 o'clock came... and his dad rescued us.  =)

  Mom helped me on with the veil.  I bit my lips..... was I going to trip and fall flat on my face?  Was I going to fall out of the gazebo?  Or worse... go there and there isn't a wedding any more!

  The wedding was going to be at 2PM EST.  At the place David and I fell in love at... Flamingo Gardens. 

My mom and I got to the Flamingo Gardens before anyone else.... We became terrified that no one was going to come... or we were in the wrong area of the park. Suddenly, everyone came and pinned our car in and I tried to hide so David could not see me. Well, everyone backed up and mom and I got out. ^_^

Well, it took a while before everyone was ready. I hid behind a tree and sank in some mud. My shoes were ruined.

Well, to make a long story short... I was led down the isle by David's dad... and David and I had the most wonderful wedding on earth! Small... calm... peaceful... and meaningful. I love him and I'm so glad I said yes to him when he asked me to marry him on my birthday!
