Well, I take it that you want to hear how David and I met, fell in love, and decided to
spend the rest of our lives together, huh? =)
In 1998, I was heart broken over a recent break up. I needed to find a nice person who
wouldn't break my heart. I didn't know where to look. So I looked on line at the singles
sites. I responded to a bunch of ads, mainly on a site called: American Singles. I got tons of replies back,
most were not my type at all! But there was a couple that seemed really sweet. I got to
know these two people. I met one of them finally one night.
I met David at a bookstore. He and I talked for a long time, ate rice pudding I think it was, and listened to the music. Finally, it was time for me to leave.
I then met the other person.... needless to say, he was nothing like he told me he was.
He turned out to be a big faker. I then closed myself to the world. I was hurt again. But
I kept getting sweet e-mails from David. He even sent me a happy birthday song on my
birthday. He would look for me on a program called
Finally, one day, I was on ICQ. He and I began chatting. He was worried about me, not being online for so long. I told him what had happened, and he was saddened.
One day....May 15, I think it was, of 1999.... he and I got back together again..... at a place call Flamingo Gardens. Sparks flew this time. We acted like we have known each other for years... and everyone thought we were married. =) David and I got along so great that day... it was unreal.
We talked on the phone a lot and both were happy about how things were going between us.
On our next date, things blossomed big time. Each one of our dates brought us closer and closer together. We were unseparatible!
Finally, I moved in with him.... and we got engaged.
Our Engagment
It was so romantic, the night he asked me to be his.... He took me to a fancy restaurant called Steak and Ale. It was my birthday. Sadly, the food was not good and we could barely stomach it. We still enjoyed each other's company though. After we were done with our meal... kinda, David turned to me. We sat side by side. He pulled out a little box and opened it. "Will you marry me?" He asked, turning BRIGHT red. He rushed the words right out of his mouth as if he was in a race! I shook my head. I said something like; "You don't ask like that!" He then took a deep breath. "Will you marry me?" Again, I shook my head. "On your knee." I said. I was not going to let our special moment be shattered by rushing into it. I moved out of the booth and poor David was so red.... he was redder then a red rose! He got onto his knee and asked one last time. It was soooooooooo perfect!! The people at the other tables watched as I accepted the ring and we hugged. David and I were engaged and I was never so happy in my life!
We then got married... you'll have to take a peak at our wedding page to find out more there! Four years later... we become proud parents of a baby boy! Check out my ultra sound on our baby's page! He is due June 8! I am soooo nervous! But, as long as I have David, I can handle ANYTHING!
