Adventures at Cypress Gardens

Well, we have been going to Cypress Gardens a lot lately. Maybe due to our cool looking gold cards that just are eager to be seen… Except that the photos make all of us look 500lbs heavier… Hey, what’s with that camera???

lol, well we went a few times, and I decided to combine all of our 2008 Cypress Gardens pictures together. More people should go because it’s a really great place, and I don’t want them to go out of business. (It’s Florida’s history!!!) We went on May 27, and 28, and then again on June 28.

David loves Christan rock bands, and he asked Calvin and me to join him. He bought us front row tickets, and we went. I almost made us miss out due to getting really ill, but I made it so that David and Calvin could have a fun filled day, and I could take pictures of it for their memories.

Below are the pictures of the bands we heard, first Need To Breathe came out. I enjoied this band because they were having a lot of fun and their energy was very good. Their music was pretty good from what I could make out of it… I was in center colum, fourth row back… and to me I could not make out what they were saying. Oh well, the price to pay to take good pictures, lol.

The next group that came out was Building 429. Now, this group really stayed with me because the lead singer, Jason Roy told us about his personal trip and how sponsoring a child changed a family’s life. Now that was something to be wowed about. He went out into the audience and passed out stuff for people to fill out for sponsoring a child. It was really great to see such a devotion. He said that 3/4 of the year, he does not see his own children… I would have such a hard time doing something and not seeing Calvin. However, he is devoted, and it’s on account of him that so many more children will be sponsored. He’s a good person to be doing something like this for the greater good. So, all I can say is thank you to people like Jason Roy and his band who take so much time from their own lives to do something for such a great cause. They really do change lives for the beter. A lot of children were sponsored that night. David sponsored a child the following Monday because we wanted to verify that the company was what they said they were. Here’s a link to see our sponsored child.

The Last group was Jars of Clay who were the ones David was itching to see. My personal view point was, the first two bands stole the show. Esp Building 429. My reasons? Building 429 got the audience involved with the show. (No, I was the one who always was in my seat… lol) They really got the audience all hyped. The message that they sent also to sponcer a child really left a mark on me… does it show?

Okay… enough of my blah blah blahs… I’m not here to bore you all to death… lol. If you see any miss info on names… tell me, lol. I don’t know these guys well and I don’t want anyone throwing tomatoes at me right now… Enjoy their pictures and such!
